Recent Focus on Rehovot & Rishon Lezion: In 2001 Over 1,000 businesses in Rishon had no license

"Over 1,000 businesses in Rishon have no license. According to the latest Rishon Lezion licensing authority report published last month,1,088 of the 2,462 businesses (41 percent) operating in the city do not have a business license.

A partial list, published in Bamakom Hebrew weekly, includes municipal facilities run by the city's economic corporation and municipal corporations for culture, such as the city Zoo, the Hai Kef pet corner ..."
